Data telemetry can simplify and accelerate the acquisition of critical information from remote locations. From security to pizza delivery, there are numerous applications for telemetry technology which can be used to collect location data without actually going anywhere. It is a cost effective medium to get connected with things, and because of that, it has caught the eye of many entrepreneurs. In 2003, Phoenix, AZ based Inilex, Incsaw significant potential in this field and thus introduced its best-in-class telemetry products centered on the automotive space. Since its establishment, Inilex has become the industry’s leading provider of intelligent telemetry solutions, enabling companies and consumers to remotely monitor, control and track their important assets – like their cars and their fleets – with its GPS products and applications.

Inilex has three main products: InilexGPS enables auto dealers to manage their vehicles on their lotsfrom the tip of their fingers from locating vehicles to monitoring basic diagnostics. “There would be around 500 to 800 vehicles with the car dealers, and with our platform they now can know where these vehicles are in real time,” explains Michael Maledon, President and CEO at Inilex. “So if a customer is interested in test driving a car, dealers can know where the car is, and in case of any theft, they can track it at an instant.”

Inilex also has SkyLINK, an industry-leading automotive theft-recovery device. Auto theft is a significant problem in the U.S. with a car stolen every 22 seconds. SkyLINK leverages GPS technology to enable law enforcement to locate a stolen vehicle with pinpoint accuracy in mere seconds, and allows the owner to recover it immediately. SkyLINK is the only device with broad, nationwide coverage and a direct link for law enforcement to receive up-to-the-minute location updates.

The third primary product is Inilex GPS FLEET. Designed for fleets under 250 vehicles, InilexGPS FLEET offers tracking and monitoring while also helping companies save fuel and overtime costs, manage vehicle routing, history reports, and other operations.

Creating the Name

Continuing to grow at a double-digit rate and establish itself in the multi-billion dollar automotive industry are Inilex’s primary goals. Although Inilex has already set benchmarks for its competitors and has received extensive recognition in the marketplace, the company still has room for growth and intends to take advantage of it.

Inilex has become the industry’s leading provider of intelligent telemetry solutions, enabling companies and consumers to remotely monitor, control and track their important assets – like their cars and their fleets – with its GPS products and applications

Technologically, Inilex intends to keep enhancing its current platform for expanded vehicle management consistent with the “Connected Car” industry, and to further extend its footprint across the nation and world.
